Monday, March 28th, 2011Sunday, March 27th at 12:26 PM a little princess was born. I had the ultimate privilege to witness and capture this miraculous event. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing an experience it is to see a baby being born. I have four children of my own, but to be on the outside and take everything in is beyond any words I can think of to describe. This was my second time experiencing a birth as an “outsider” and the first time La Mia Bella was there to capture it. This little girl’s daddy is deployed and he could not be there in person but I was there to capture and document every moment for him. I was honored when Allison asked me to be a part of this special day. I can’t even begin to explain the emotions that come with experiencing a miracle like this, but I hope some of the images from that day can give you a hint of what I got to see and feel.

Sunday, February 27th, 2011Yesterday’s photo session with this cutie patootie was quite challenging. She just didn’t want to give us any smiles! We even had Daddy in the background making silly faces and goofy noises, but she wasn’t impressed! (LOL) She definitely gave plenty of expressions which made for a great session, even if the smiles were few and far between. I know Mommy is waiting to sneak a peek at the images, so without further delay….Meet Little Miss Kylie!

Saturday, February 12th, 2011I met little Brodie (along with his parents) this morning for a photo session. I was hoping the snow would be melted by today but we still have a lot on the ground. It was cold and {Mr. Curious} was interested in everything at the park except me and my camera. Mom and I already discussed plans to reschedule the shoot for a warmer day, but here’s a sneak peek of what I captured today. Stay tuned for Part II of Brodie’s session

Wednesday, January 5th, 2011Today I had a session with a sweet little newborn. Mom and I had a hard time coordinating our schedules at first due to the holidays and travelling out of town, but we finally picked a date that worked for both of us. In every newbie session, there’s gonna be some messes! I get peed on at least once a session. This time was no different 
There was not one, not two, not three…but FOUR “accidents”…I try to assure all new mommies that it happens each session. It’s something I come to expect especially with the little boys. Mom didn’t want me to post a sneak peek at first because she is trying to surprise Daddy with these photos. But then she gave me the go-ahead. I’m only posting 3 from today’s session in hopes that I don’t ruin the surprise!

Sunday, December 12th, 2010Here’s a quick sneak peek from this morning’s session. Little Logan did NOT want to smile. She was content….she just wasn’t cracking a smile, no matter how silly we acted or sounded. The adults were laughing, though. Smile or no smile, she is still as cute as ever.

Thursday, October 28th, 2010This little one decided to come 2 weeks early. He is tiny and precious and just 6 days old. Dad is an ABE (just like my husband) and is currently deployed on the USS Truman. Dad missed the birth, but I’ll be at the homecoming to capture the moment he meets his son for the first time. For now, here’s some images for Dad from today’s session.

I have to say thank you to my assistant for the day….my good friend, Cori. We had a fun session with this beautiful little princess. I hope Mommy likes this sneak peek.
